Privacy statement

AMK Oirschot handles your personal data with care. This privacy statement explains which data we process, why we do so, how long we keep it and what rights you have.

What data we process

We process the data you give us yourself, for example through the forms on this website, by email or by phone:

  • your name and contact details, such as email address and phone number;
  • your address and the address of the building we survey;
  • details of the owner of the building, such as name, KvK number, phone number and address, insofar as they are needed for the Dutch national asbestos tracking system (LAVS);
  • information about the building and the planned work;
  • details needed for invoicing.

Why we process this data

We use your data to:

  • answer your request and prepare a quote;
  • carry out the asbestos survey and draw up the report;
  • invoice;
  • comply with legal obligations, such as registering the survey report in the Dutch national asbestos tracking system (LAVS) and the statutory retention obligation for tax purposes.

We process this data because it is necessary to enter into and perform an agreement with you, or because the law requires us to.

We need some of the data to be able to carry out the order. The details of the owner of the building are also required by law for the LAVS. Without these details we cannot carry out the order.

How long we keep data

We do not keep your data longer than necessary for the purpose for which we collected it, unless the law requires a longer period. Data we need for our administration is kept for 7 years because of the statutory retention obligation for tax purposes. Survey reports and the related data are kept for as long as the rules for asbestos surveys and our certification require. Requests that do not lead to an order are deleted within a year.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. We only share it when this is necessary to carry out the order or when the law requires it, for example with:

  • the laboratory that analyses the samples taken;
  • the Dutch national asbestos tracking system (LAVS);
  • the certification body, during audits of our work;
  • suppliers who support us, for example for website hosting, email, file storage and reporting software;
  • Anthropic, the provider of the AI software we use (see Use of AI).

We make agreements on the protection of your data with suppliers who process data on our behalf. If a supplier processes data outside the European Union, this only happens with the safeguards required by the GDPR.

Use of AI

When answering requests and drafting emails, quotes and reports, we use AI software as a tool: Claude by Anthropic. Your data may be processed by Anthropic Ireland Limited. Anthropic is itself responsible for that processing and follows its own privacy policy. Anthropic may also process your data in the United States and uses the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission for this.

We have set Anthropic not to use our conversations to train its AI models. We do not enter more data than necessary and delete conversations as soon as we no longer need them. Anthropic then erases them within 30 days. Conversations flagged by Anthropic's safety systems may be kept by Anthropic for up to two years and used to detect misuse and make its AI safer.

We do this on the basis of our legitimate interest: handling requests and orders quickly and carefully. The AI software does not make decisions about you: we check all results ourselves and make the decisions ourselves. Do you not want us to use AI software for your data? Cookies and spam protection

This website does not use cookies for statistics or advertising. The forms are protected against spam with Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks technical data from your browser when you fill them in.

Security

We take appropriate measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised use.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. You can also object to the processing or ask for your data to be transferred. Send your request to info@amkoirschot.nl. We will respond within one month.

Changes

We may change this privacy statement. The most recent version is always on this page. This version is dated 24 September 2026. The Dutch version prevails in case of differences.
