What is asbestos?
Asbestos is the collective name for a group of naturally occurring silicate minerals with a fibrous structure. The name comes from the Greek word asbestos, which literally means unquenchable (impossible to extinguish) and, figuratively, imperishable.
When do I need an asbestos survey report in Eindhoven?
Demolition
If you plan to demolish all or part of a building that was built before 1994. You are then required to submit a demolition notification to the municipality, together with a certified asbestos survey report.
Buying or selling a building
Identifying the materials suspected of containing asbestos when you buy or sell a building or structure built before 1994. We always advise you to consider this, because removing asbestos from a building can be very costly, so you can take it into account when negotiating the purchase.

If you only plan to remove asbestos and want a certified asbestos removal company to do this.

Once we have received your approval, one of us will contact you to arrange a suitable date and time for the asbestos survey in Eindhoven, or of course in any other town or village.
We visit you for the inspection. How long it takes always depends on the building and the samples to be taken. After the survey on site, you receive the asbestos survey report in your inbox. You can use this report to submit the demolition notification.

Once we have delivered the asbestos survey report, you can use it to request quotes from certified asbestos removal companies.
The report clearly states where asbestos was found and how it must be removed. We can of course always explain the next steps to you in person, such as what you are at least required to do under the laws and regulations for the asbestos-containing materials found in your building or structure.
